Initiate a 60, 30, 15 or 5 minute challenge!

Leave a comment below to initiate a challenge or to let us know what your task-related goals are.

Do you need help (or an extra push) to begin a project or finish one? Or do you need accountability in the way you manage your time?

From time to time, I will initiate a 60, 30, 15 or 5 minute challenge. That’s when we set our timers to see how much we can get done before the timer goes off.

On this page, YOU can initiate your own challenge and invite others to join in!

Of course, you can use your imagination and initiate a different type of challenge, such as a task-related one: “dust your whole house,” “mop your floors,” or “write a first draft for your school paper or a chapter on a book you’re working on!” Again, be creative, What will be most effective for you? After all, it is YOUR challenge!

So, decide on what challenge you want to initiate. Leave a comment below to let us know what it will be. Then start a project or continue one you’ve already started. THEN touch base with us to let us know what you got done!

Okay? Let’s get started! See you online.

  1. Maybe, you can’t get the whole project done, but what if you set your timer for 5, 10, 30 or 60 minutes to see how big of a dent you can make in that homework/work assignment, house chore, whatever! Let us know how you do – here or on Facebook. I look forward to hearing how these challenges work for you.

    • Hi, Andrew!
It’s so nice to have someone drop by. Thank you.
Great goal …If you care to, let us know how you do on your goal.

  2. It’s been so long since anyone – including me – has stopped by the 60 Minute Challenge Blog. Let’s start again, shall we?
Set your timer for 60, 30, 15, or even 5 minutes and start a project or continue one you’ve already started. Then let us know what you accomplished. This can be fun!
    I’ll go first:
I will set my timer for 15 minutes for each task and see how much I get done for each one:
Continue with my rough draft for my next column
    Organize my office
Clean my kitchen and pick up around the house
Begin taking down my Christmas decorations

  3. Good evening, all! (I know you’re there, albeit so very quiet. 😉 )
I really, really, really need to buckle down and get my next article for my weekly column done – at least finish a solid rough draft.
    Therefore, I am initiating a 60 Minutes see-how-much-I- can-get-done Challenge!!
    Who else needs a 5, 15, 30 or 60-Minute Challenge?

    • That really worked for me. In fact, I kept going even after the timer went off. I love it when that happens!
